September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.  Help us to honor our little warriors battling cancer, child survivors, and those who have earned their angel wings by "Pedaling for Pediatric Cancer" on September 15th in Waxhaw.  The Bike Ride starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends when the last rider crosses the finish line.   The start and finish lines are at the Waxhaw Elementary School where there will be lots of activities for the non-riders and  cheering fans.  Riders can select a child to ride for and potentially win that family a great prize!  There are two routes, a 30 mile and 60 mile, through the picturesque countryside of Waxhaw.  This is a great training ride for the Multiple Sclerosis ride to Myrtle Beach the following weekend and we would love to see the Booty riders join us to show off their shirts and speed!  The entrance fee is Twenty Dollars per rider with all proceeds going directly to families who have children with cancer.  Registration forms can be obtained at most of the local bike shops, or by contacting avasgifttojune@hotmail.com or calling (704)264-4582.  The Waxhaw Bike Shop is providing mechanical support and families, friends, and children affected by childhood cancer will be passing out water/snacks and cheering at several rest stops.    If you would like to volunteer, ride, or come and cheer for our riders please contact Heather at the above email and phone number.  Let's show the world that Pediatric Cancer is important!!

We are getting ready to extend into SC and will be establishing with the State of SC this week and hoping next year to possibly work with United Way as one of their charities. Please pray that we are accepted as this would open many doors for our charity and help us grow.
